A Work in Progress – 8/29/14

While cleaning out scrap metal from our back forty I discovered several old steel milk containers. They are very rusty, dented, but still in relatively decent shape. I saved these with the intention of painting them white for landscaping projects, but now I want to paint murals on them. The first one I decided to paint with a farm scene on it.

    • Thanks for your comment. I’ve got 5-6 more cans, an old airplane prop, and an antique saw blade that will all be getting their own “makeover.” Finding the time and the right image is generally what takes the longest.

      • Yes, old two handed saws and big circular saws from the mills painted with train scenes are traditional folk art in Pacific NW. Can’t find anything like that in Miami so paint scene ships and boat on paddle part of old oars.
